It’s still very warm where I live, and even though mornings here have started to feel pleasant, I can’t opt for an autumn look the way I would back on the old continent. Nothing to complain about, I just need to adapt to my current environment without fully giving in to fashion “rules” such as “no white after Labor Day.” Yes, there’s white, because it’s timeless and elevates things, so I’ll make my own rules.

I love the look above for its simplicity; it feels modern yet timeless, and most importantly, it’s “me”. I dress for myself, not to please a crowd, and that is apparent in my mood, too. If I feel off about an item, or about an outfit, I start to feel grumpy. No bueno for anyone.
